SHALOM VIENNA

An evening of Jewish music, with a richly varied programme of both the traditional and the modern: Jewish songs which combine great emotional depth with musical virtuosity. The tenor Eduard Babadost has created this event with the help of a few fellow musicians. Special guest for the evening is the internationally celebrated singer Avi Benedi, and chief cantor Shmuel Barzilai makes a guest appearance. They are accompanied by the Vidin Symphonic Orchestra, whose playing lends the songs a  rich, orchestral texture. The programme blends spirituality and history with simple zest for life, and offers the audience a musical journey through Jewish culture.
