GUANGZHOU OPERA HOUSE YOUTH ORCHESTRA

The Guangzhou Opera House Youth Orchestra is an independent youth ensemble founded by the Guangzhou Opera House. Combining strings, wind and percussion, it represents the youthful energy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The ensemble has already taken to the stage at 24 special concerts, and has received international awards in Singapore, Guangdong and Malaysia. Under conductor Yiqin Cheng, the orchestra presents Dvořák as well as their main staple, the classical music of their homeland.

MARCHING STARS MARCHING BAND

Marching Stars is a youth marching band from Bulgaria, which was formed in 2011 by Todor Tsachev. With their colourful uniforms, powerful sound, choreographed movements and American-style drumline, the band is always a delight to watch. Their appearances at national holiday events, festivals and charity concerts have impressed audiences both at home and abroad. Marching Stars also gained fame through the TV series Bulgaria’s Got Talent. A chance to see marching music at its finest, right here in Vienna.
