Regional Youth Orchestra NSW
The youth orchestra for students from the regional conservatoires of the Australian state of New South Wales offers young musicians an opportunity to work with other regional talent and learn from leading conductors, orchestras and artists from Australia and around the world. Since its founding in 2016, the orchestra has completed numerous successful projects, including collaborations with renowned international ensembles like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. Under the direction of Patrick Brennan, the orchestra plays classical music from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The orchestra was founded in early 2022 by conductor Dr Szymon Stec. Under his artistic direction, the orchestra crafts ambitious repertoires that span from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions. In just two years, the orchestra has given almost twenty concerts and received consistently positive acclaim. In Vienna they will present a repertoire featuring Strauss (son), Massenet and Terech.
