SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA CONCERT BY KLANGWELLE WIEN
Works by Beethoven, Grieg & Rimsky-Korsakov
Orchestral music | Classic | Concert | Adults
The concert evening opens with Beethoven’s powerful Egmont Overture from the incidental music to Goethe’s tragedy of the same name. Afterwards you will experience the highest virtuosity and passionate melodies in Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, interpreted by Alexander Koschka. After the interval, Rimsky-Korsakov’s symphonic suite Scheherazade whisks the audience away to the enchanting world of One Thousand and One Nights. With its brilliant orchestration and evocative, oriental-inspired melodies, the work tells the tale of the ingenious Scheherazade, who masterfully shapes her fate through the power of storytelling. Look forward to a varied concert evening with the Klangwelle Wien orchestra.
