THE ERLKINGS – WINTERREISE (WINTER JOURNEY)

After more than a decade, The Erlkings have set out on their long-awaited winter journey through the 24 songs of Schubert’s masterpiece. The poetry of Wilhelm Müller has been adapted into contemporary English by Bryan Benner, reimagined for the 21st century with The Erlkings‘ signature sound. The outcome is a realm of ice, snow and burning tears, artfully crafted through the unique blend of voice, guitar, cello, tuba, drums and vibraphone.
