WEIHNACHTEN UND SO … (CHRISTMAS AND ALL THAT…)

Ursula Strauss and Christian Dolezal present joyful and reflective Christmas stories under the ironically titled programme “Weihnachten und so …” (Christmas and all that…). This evening is full of poetry, with poems and texts by Rainer Maria Rilke, Kurt Tucholsky, Helmut Qualtinger and Ilse Aichinger, Trude Marzik, Karl Valentin, Christian Morgenstern and Anton Krutisch, rounded off with Heinrich Heine and Katharina Elisabeth Goethe. The show culminates in a unique Christmas tale by Carlo Manzoni. Bernhard Moshammer will create a musical backdrop with banjo, guitar and vocals.
