The Maximilian coffee shop is named after Kaiser Maximilian I, who founded the Vienna Boys’ Choir in 1498. The duty of the 14-20 boys in the original Choir was to provide a musical interpretation for Holy Mass.

The Café is always open before the start of performances, during the intervals and after the end of performances.
