EU Multilateral Christmas Charity Gala

For the second consecutive year, the Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna is organising its annual EU Multilateral Charity Christmas Gala, dedicated to the theme #EU4Ukraine.

All proceeds from ticket sales and voluntary donations will be used to purchase a grand piano and an orchestral percussion instrument for the Kharkiv I. P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts in Kharkiv. Renowned as one of the foremost higher education institutions in Ukraine, this university stands as a creative, research-oriented and methodical hub for music and theatre education in eastern Ukraine.

Aligned with the ethos of the European Year of Skills, these donations will play a pivotal role in advancing music education and safeguarding cultural heritage in Ukraine.

As 2023 is the European Year of Skills, and keeping in mind the EU focus in Ukraine on the future, The Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna organises a Charity Gala to collect and purchase music instruments that can be sent to students and music schools in Kharkiv and other cities in Ukraine and contribute in the preservation of the cultural heritage and especially the skill of playing music and music education in Ukraine
