6th International Ballet & Contemporary Dance Competition

The European Ballet Grand Prix (EBGP) is an annual international competition. It is open to schoolchildren, and dancers aged from 7 to 26 from right around the world. Held in Vienna since 2017, the competition was launched by Simona Noja, former Principal Dancer of the Wiener Staatsballett, and Boris Nebyla, himself a Solo Dancer at the Staatsballett. The EBGP has become a platform which helps all participants far beyond the limits of the competition itself, by discovering, supporting and developing their artistic potential. As well as the possibility of winning a prize, all the dancers gain an opportunity to showcase their talent, accumulate useful experience, win bursaries, get bookings, or be selected for various other events. Participants perform before a jury of international experts. They compete within both professional and amateur categories. The best of them will get to perform alongside internationally renowned ballet artists at the EBGP’s closing event, the Charity Awards Gala.
