A song full of depth, passion and poetry – works by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss and Francesco Paolo Tosti trace a musical arc from heartfelt romanticism to sun-drenched Mediterranean melancholy. The programme is complemented by tangos by Astor Piazzolla and Pablo Ziegler – a glimpse into modern worlds of sound. Between the rich tradition of German art song and the soulful longing of Argentina, an evening of moving intensity unfolds brought to life by voice, piano, and accordion, steeped in the spirit of grand festival tradition.
