KULTURMITTAG (ARTS AT LUNCHTIME) My Music, my World

Vienna-based composer and guitarist Timotej Kosovinc takes material from the world of popular music and fashions it through the use of classical and avant-garde compositional techniques. He blends these elements in his own distinctive style, creating a language that is accessible to music lovers of all tastes. In this concert he performs guitar pieces from his recently released CD “The Good Moment”, alongside chamber music compositions written for cello and guitar duo and also for guitar/ violin/ cello/ piano quartet.  The concert follow the thoughts of a man over the course of two days. It begins on the evening of a night filled with contemplation, then tracks the events of the following hectic day, before ending with the insights that arise as the second day dawns.
