This concert features well-known orchestral pieces, including John Williams’ “Theme from Schindler’s List”, Sergej Prokofiev’s “Overture on Hebrew themes” and Max Bruch’s “Kol Nidrei“, as well as Jewish songs performed by Oberkantor Shmuel Barzilai. Your host for the evening is Elisa Gregor, who will provide some insights into the special characteristics of Jewish religious music.
