ME AND MY GIRL

“Me and My Girl” are Bill Snibson and his Sally Smith, a young couple from the working-class neighbourhood of Lambeth in London. But when Bill, who grew up without parents, learns that his recently deceased father was the Earl of Hareford, an extremely wealthy man for whom he is the sole heir, their lives change drastically. Although Bill is both scorned and mocked by the aristocratic family, his aunt Maria, the Duchess of Dene, and Sir John, a family friend, are tasked with determining whether he is fit to inherit the estate – though they find themselves at odds on the matter. In the seemingly flawless and refined world of the nobility, two bitter factions suddenly clash in a battle for the family’s future, putting Bill and Sally’s love to the ultimate test.
In the summer of 2024, we will also take our project on a European tour, with performances in Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France. All proceeds from the performances in Austria, Switzerland, and France will support local paediatric oncology research.
